General Questions
- How do I book you?
Get in touch with me using the contact page and I will get back to you. Please let me know what type of photo session you are looking for and if possible provide links to some sample images that you like.
- When will I receive my photos?
Your secure proof gallery will be available for viewing from the clients page in 8 days or less from the shoot date. I will send you an email with your password as soon as I have posted the proof gallery. Your finished images should be ready within 4 weeks after that. I will make my best effort to have the final images finished as soon as possible. If you are on a tight timeline please let me know and we can discuss how you can get your images sooner.
- Do you only offer the photos as Digital download or do you offer prints?
The price listed includes the price of all of the photos as a downloadable .zip file. If you are interested in having prints made I am happy to help you with that. I order prints from professional printers. If you are interested in ordering prints we can discuss sizes and prices that work best for you. A CD/DVD of your images can also be purchased for an additional fee.
Cocktail Photography
- How long does the photo shoot session last?
The length of the photo session will depend on your choice of packages. I usually require about 45 minutes to an hour to set up for a shoot, and each picture takes 20 to 30 minutes to shoot. I recommend keeping the full day clear in order to ensure that we are able to finish shooting i a single session. If we do not complete your package within one day, there will be an additional fee to have me come back to complete the shoot. - Are there any additional charges for me to receive my photos?
Web quality images will be delivered as a downloadable .zip file. If you would like printed proofs I can arrange this for a fee. You will have unlimited web and usage rights to your photos. If you would like print quality images, they are available for an additional fee. Additional usage rights can be discussed as needed. - Where will the photos be taken?
Typically, we will shoot in or near your bar, but the location of the photo session is up to you. Please keep in mind that wherever you choose to shoot, you will need to be able to prepare drinks nearby. Ideally, I prefer a space with large windows that will provide plenty of natural light, although I do use lighting equipment, and can work without a natural light source. - Do you use real alcohol in the drinks?
Many drinks can be made with water as a substitute, but it is usually best to use the exact same recipe that you would use when serving the drink. I realize that alcohol is expensive, and I will do everything I can to minimize the amount of waste incurred during the shoot.
Food Photography
- How long does the photo shoot session last?
Depending on your choice of packages, your session will last from 1 to 2 hours; although I recommend budgeting extra time as I often go over the time quoted. - Are there any additional charges for me to receive my photos?

The location of the photo session is up to you. Ideally I prefer to use natural, available light, I have lighting equipment; however, natural light is typically more flattering than artificial light. Once your photo shoot date is booked we will discuss what type of feel you are looking for in your photographs, we can then work together to come up with the perfect location. I do not have a studio, however I am able to rent a studio for an additional fee if required. Please give me as much notice as possible if you would like to book a studio. - What should I wear?
I recommend that you keep clothing simple – avoid logos or busy patterns. Depending on the package you have chosen, you may have up to 4 different looks. Wear clothes that represent you and who you are. Feel free to bring a change of clothing even if your package includes only one look. If you r choice of outfits does not work well in the first few shots, I will recommend making changes.
